When you purchase a manufactured Kent Home, you’ll be working directly with a Certified Dream Builder. Your builder will assist you with design & finish selections, site work, and pricing to eliminate confusion and unknowns.

5. Building Your Home

We take your plans from concept to creation. Our engineering team transforms your design into a series of modules ready for the production line, converting living spaces and bedrooms into lumber cut lists and materials requirements.

Our procurement team works with dedicated suppliers to gather all the materials required for your home – and prepare their arrival just as your home begins its journey through our manufacturing facility. 6. Delivering Your Home

Part of a 3 Step Process

t’s always impressive to watch as your new Kent Home settles into place on its new foundation. Delivering your new home is Step 1 of a three step process leading up to Move-In Day.

Once your home is secured on its foundation, your Certified Dream Builder begins Step 2 – Final Finish Work – taking care of final carpentry needs, system tests and checks to ensure everything is ready for Step 3 – Walk Through Day to inspect your new home.

7. Handing You the Keys

Move In Day

Your keys will be handed to you, the boxes will arrive and your new adventure begins!

On “Closing” your final balance is due, and we come with you for your complete new home evaluation. We’ll review all the features of your Kent Home, plus leave you with a Homeowner’s Manual and warranties on workmanship and structure.

8. Kent Homes Warranty

We’ve Got Your Back

Before you make your purchase, we provide you with all the warranty information and answer any questions you may have. When your home is complete, you receive your New Homeowners Manual and all warranty documents. You can expect a comprehensive New Home Evaluation with your Certified Dream Builder prior to occupancy including a home inspection and extensive checklist.

Kent Homes adopts high standards as set out in your New Home Warranty Performance Guidelines manual.

Q: HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO BUILD A KENT HOME?

It takes only two weeks to build a home in our manufacturing facility, however, the process from design to move in is dependent on a number of factors. Obtaining a building permit, site review, key product decisions, and ensuring your design is complete & signed off are all important steps.

 


Q: WHAT SIZE HOMES DO YOU BUILD?

A: As a custom builder we can build any size home, but generally the average size range is between 1100 and 2500 sq feet.

 


Q: DO YOU BUILD GARAGES?

Yes. Garages are built on-site once the home is delivered.

 


Q: ARE THE HOMES ENERGY EFFICIENT?

Our Kent Homes’ manufacturing facility assures the highest standards are consistently achieved and monitored when it comes to sealing the home to improve heating and cooling efficiencies.

Waste in the factory is separated and recycled, reducing the impact on landfills. This has less disruption in terms of noise and time at job site. Building a manufactured home also allows for higher energy efficiencies and reduced heating costs.

 


Q: CAN YOU MAKE CHANGES OR CUSTOM DESIGN?

Yes, all clients are given preliminary plans to review through the home buying process. Depending on your home series you’ll have a number of available options and changes and with our custom design product changes are accommodated during the design phase.
